China posee una milenaria civilización que no es mejor o peor que la nuestra... es DIFERENTE!

Actualmente China se está preparando para ser la primera economía mundial, razón por la cual los chinos están empeñados en perfeccionar su inglés; y para ello es que quieren llevar Au Pairs que hablen muy buen inglés, beneficiándose de tener con quien practicar en familia. Los aspirantes hombres son muy solicitados para tal fin por las familias chinas, lo cual agiliza notoriamente la contratación de Au Pairs masculinos en comparación con otros destinos y gozando de todos los grandes beneficios que ofrece el programa en China.

A continuación transcribiremos unas preguntas formuladas por el Sr. John Fredy Muñoz (JFM) y las respuestas del Director de la agencia en China, Sr. Jack Hompes (JH). Estas preguntas son recurrentemente planteadas por personas interesadas en China.

JFM: Is it too dangerous to live in China due to the earthquakes?

JH: Eartquakes happen all over the world. The most dangerous place is certainly NOT China. Click here to see DATAS.

The media high light earthquakes, of course. Most dangerous is USA for earthquakes. Earthquakes happen when a plate of the earth moves. As you can see on the link China is not in such area. Japan is, like Indonesia. Those countries are far away. Beware China is a hugh country. If an earthquake happens in Argentina, it won't affect Colombia, right ? Compare it like that (if you want to compare) The amount of people in China is also hugh so it is logical it gets media attention. I don't know why such media attention in Colombia about earthquakes in China is that intens. I advise candidates with those questions to go to the internet. China is mentioned several times but it does not mean it is not save.

JFM: Does the police respect the foreigners there?

JH: Absolutely. Foreigners are treated with respect. As a foreigner you need to respect the country (as you need to respect every country you visit). Basically one could say Chinese like to see foreigners as they like to learn from other cultures. Many of the au pairs are just asked on the street for a picture as the Chinese like to say they have "western" friends. The police is the same.

JFM: Is it possible to visit other countries from China as Au Pair applicant?

JH: No. The visa is for China, not for other countries. The visa provided gives the right to stay in China for a certain period. One is allowed to enter China once, not twice with the same visa. Why visit another country ? China is hugh, lots to see and to experience. If the candidate wants to visit another country that should be done at the end of the stay. Also the applicant needs to make sure he/she has a visa for the other country.
